The journey to SMLS begins with a simple online application. Our goal is to truly understand your daughter, her unique learner profile, emerging aspirations, and the distinct spark she will bring to our community.

Admissions Deadlines

To ensure your daughter receives full consideration for her desired entry year, we encourage families to begin the application process as early as possible. While SMLS accepts applications for all grades throughout the year, placements are subject to availability.

By applying early, you join our priority evaluation stream, allowing our team more time to get to know your family and your daughter’s unique potential.

Fall | The Priority Window - Deadline: October 31

Applications submitted during the fall months receive priority for the upcoming academic year. This is the ideal time for families looking at major entry points (JK, Grade 1, Grade 6 & 7, and Grade 9) to ensure a seamless transition. Deadline is October 31.
Winter | Mid-Cycle Admissions - Deadline: February 14

During the winter months, we continue to review applications for any remaining spots. If a specific grade level reaches capacity, qualified applicants will be invited to join our waiting list, where they are first in line should a space become available.
Spring & Summer | Final Call - Rolling Admissions

Late-cycle applications are considered based on availability of space is the grade which a student is applying. Decisions will be communicated once the application is complete.

Application Instructions

We welcome applications for the upcoming academic year and, in select grades, mid-year placements for the current term. Every application we receive is a valued opportunity for our team to discover a future "Millie" and understand the unique strengths she will bring to our classrooms and school community.

To begin this journey, please select the appropriate pathway below. A non-refundable application fee of $200 is required to initiate the comprehensive review of your daughter's profile by our Admissions Committee.
