Support SMLS

Millie Fund

Empower Millies Through The Millie Fund.

What is the Millie Fund?

SMLS is a school where wonder, discovery, empowerment and resilience emerge.

Donations to The Millie Fund provide a critical source of funds that help make that possible.

Why Giving Matters

One of the many things that makes SMLS so special is the support we receive from the members of our community - alumnae, parents, grandparents, staff, faculty and friends. Every day, we see and feel the impact of their generous support.

Gifts to The Millie Fund create endless opportunities for current and future students. The past 130 years have shown the impact of giving for our school community. When every member of our community gives as generously as they can, the collective impact is powerful.  With your help, we can continue to provide an environment where wonder, discovery, empowerment and resilience emerge.

With your gift today, you can:
  • support key priorities across the school through our Head's Initiatives Fund
  • give more girls an opportunity to receive an SMLS education through our Student Financial Assistance Fund
  • help SMLS to be proactive and nimble in responding to the evolving and immediate needs of our students and the school
  • provide a life-changing learning experience for our students.

  • DESIGNATE A GIFT THROUGH A CHARITABLE PLATFORM

It is easy and convenient to designate your gift to SMLS through the charitable platform of your choice.

Many companies use a charitable platform to enable thier employees to donate to a charity of their choice through payroll deduction. In these cases, the platform provides the tax receipt rather than SMLS. For example some SMLS donors use Benevity to make their donation to SMLS. Please check with your employer if they have this capability.

In addition, many companies allow their employees to participate in corporate United Campaigns by making a gift to SMLS. In these cases, United Way provides the tax receipt.

All of these platforms take an administration fee off of your gift. If you choose to make a gift directly to SMLS, you entire gift is supporting SMLS.
