"Take Me Outside Day"

We are fortunate to be situated on 10 beautiful acres with outdoor classrooms, nature gardens and a courtyard. On Tuesday, October 20th, students across SMLS took advantage of our excellent setting and celebrated "Take Me Outside Day" - a day dedicated to celebrating outdoor learning. Why is outdoor learning so important? It helps deepen our connections with Indigenous perspectives, strengthens health and well-being, increases your knowledge and appreciation for the world around you and so much more!
