Millies on the World Stage

The entire SMLS community extends a huge congratulations to Meera and Sena, two Grade 12 students, who recently traveled to England as part of an SMLS Global Citizenship experience to accept the prestigious Kurt Hahn Prize. The global prize recognizes an exceptional act of service to others, and Meera and Sena were named this year's winner for their self-directed work to create The Indigenous Foundation.

In the award’s 55-year history, only one other Canadian school has had a student receive the prize.

Congratulations Meera and Sena!
