Remembering the Montreal Massacre
On the sombre 30th anniversary of the Montreal Massacre, SMLS Grad Year girls and St. Andrew's College boys led a service to remember the 14 women who were murdered at École Polytechnique on December 6, 1989 and the many lives that were deeply affected by this tragedy. Middle and Senior School students and faculty attended the service where both SAC boys and SMLS girls spoke about the prevention of violence against women. Following the service, the students from the two schools shared time together.
