Chinese New Year Celebrated in Whole School Chapel

SMLS students, staff and parents enjoyed an informative and entertaining chapel on February 4 to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Students shared common customs and traditions around the Chinese New Year and performed beautifully, singing songs and playing instruments such as the guzheng. As a special treat, a troupe of martial artists and performers shared the history and significance of the Lion Dance, including a spectacular performance that delighted audience members. Thank you to the many parents, students and staff who put together this memorable event!
