Millies Lead at COSSOT Conference

Over 100 students from twelve single-sex schools gathered on Saturday, Oct. 24 for the Middle School COSSOT Leadership Conference, co-hosted by SMLS and Upper Canada College (UCC).
Guided by this year’s theme, “Courage,” students explored what it truly means to step up as a leader and ended the day taking a powerful pledge to have the courage to be kind. At SMLS, empowering girls to discover their voice, lead with purpose, and inspire others is at the heart of what we do. This conference was a wonderful reflection of that commitment in action.

A highlight of this year’s event was seeing our Senior School students leadership in action. They partnered with UCC upper school leaders to plan and facilitate the day’s activities. Serving as exceptional role models, our Millies guided and encouraged the MS students every step of the way.

A special thanks to MS teacher Alicia Armstrong for her dedication in co-organizing the event alongside the UCC team. Our Millies brought an extraordinary level of energy, positivity, and enthusiasm to the conference, showing everyone what courageous, confident leadership looks like!
