Extended Day Program

The Extended Day Program at SMLS offers a structured extension of the school day, providing high-quality care and educational support for students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6. Designed to align with the regular school day, the program ensures continuity in learning and development while creating a safe, welcoming environment for students to unwind, explore, and grow.

Students enjoy a variety of engaging activities—from creative arts to STEM and outdoor play—along with nutritious snacks to keep them energized.

The program also supports connections across grade levels, with Senior School students invited to volunteer as mentors and helpers, earning community service hours or working toward their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
