Congratulations to Rahina D. for receiving the National ISTAR Arts and Culture Award from the Aga Khan Education Board of Canada. This award commends youth involvement in the exploration and acceptance of culture and in the performing arts.  

The Ismaili Students Total Achievement and Recognition Award (I-Star) is an annual program designed to motivate and encourage youth across Canada to strive for and achieve excellence in academics, community service and leadership, athletics, arts and humanities, and science and technology. St. Mildred's-Lightbourn School has offered Rahina many opportunities through the Global Studies program to expand her horizons and help build her as a future leader and global citizen, which has helped her achieve this award. Congratulations Rahina! This Award is richly deserved!
