Sister Heather Broadwell

Sr. Heather Broadwell was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario and graduated from Queen's University, Kingston with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science. She was employed at Kingston General Hospital as a staff nurse, and for 5 years as a Head Nurse in the Coronary Care Unit. She was a founding member of the Ontario Nurses's Association and served on its founding Board.
 Heather  joined the Community of the Sisters of the Church in 1991, and has served in the community as Treasurer, Novice Guardian and was elected Sister Provincial in July of 2018. She has been a member of 4 General Synods and has been privileged to attend as a non-native partner at 3 National Anglican Indigenous Sacred Circle gatherings.
