"Bonne Chance" DELF Students!

Best wishes to all students that will be taking their DELF French language exams this month! Twenty-six SMLS students have been challenging their language skills during after school DELF instruction throughout the school year. 

The DELF program is composed of four individual certificates that have been harmonized with the European standards (corresponding to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). The DELF diplomas are offered by the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency in the French language of candidates from outside France.

The demands of this extracurricular program are significant, with readiness for exams usually taking at least two years of instruction. Under the guidance of outside service providers and Mme Talaat, SMLS has a number of students who have achieved a state of readiness for this year's exam. Congratulations!

DELF will continue to be offered as a fee-based after school program next year. Stay tuned for registration details.
