April is traditionally speech month at SMLS, as girls learn how to organize, write, and present a speech. Two representatives are selected from each class to present their speeches at our annual SMLS Speech Competition. Winners from JS5 and MS1 move on to the CIS Ontario Speech Competition annually. Congratulations to all the girls for the effort they put into creating such impressive speeches! Special kudos to Grace W. who represented MS1 at the CIS Ontario Speech Competition, receiving honourable mention for her speech about Homework.
