Happy Earth Day!
Thanks to Mr. Samsworth and all of the SMLS teachers and students who made Earth Day 2016 a huge success! MS1 girls spent the morning leading Junior School classes as they participated in a variety of environmentally-themed activities such as planting, cleaning up the SMLS grounds, and creek clean-up. MS2 was busy planting about 80 trees at a nearby park. In the afternoon, all Middle School girls participated in a mini social documentary film festival showcasing environmentally themed films.
