At St. Mildred's-Lightbourn School we value the uniqueness and celebrate the strengths of each student. Our Junior School program ensures that students become confident, competent and compassionate learners, prepared to meet educational challenges throughout their life.
Our Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6 program is shaped around the learning styles and developmental stages of girls during these formative years. Junior School girls at SMLS explore the world and themselves in a safe and supportive environment, where students are encouraged to ask questions, make discoveries, take risks, and stretch beyond their comfort zone.
SMLS students learn to lead - both inside and beyond the classroom. Using technology helps to enhance and deepen their learning of a curriculum that exceeds the provincial requirements and offers enriched opportunities.
