Career Carousel

On Friday, April 3, 2009, the Alumnae Association held its second annual SMLS Career Carousel. This educational and informative day was open to students from S3 (Grade 10) to S6 (Grade 12) and was designed to help them expand their knowledge of careers based on their interests and develop their networking skills.

Approximately 180 students had the opportunity to gain invaluable experience from varied and far-reaching career fields: arts, business, education, entrepreneurship, medicine, government, and the sciences. Travelling from one panel discussion group to the next, each student was able to travel the 'carousel' and gain useful insight into a variety of careers.

The next Career Carousel will be held in April 2011.
