Welcome to St. Mildred's-Lightbourn School
After exploring our website, I would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to come for a visit and take a tour of our School. This will provide you with the opportunity to see and experience first-hand, our caring, nurturing environment, first-class facilities, wonderful faculty and our amazing students.
I have been at the School for 22 years and I am a passionate believer in the value of an all girls' school. Today, SMLS has approximately 610 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12.
Every year I watch with wonder as poised, confident and accomplished young women walk across the stage to accept their graduation certificate. I watch as these young women, some who started at SMLS as timid 4 year olds, eagerly move on to the next stage of their educational journey.
I understand that choosing a school for your daughter is one of the most important decisions a parent makes. That is why I will conscientiously answer any questions you may have, discuss your daughter's needs and guide you through the admissions process. I will also be happy to arrange meetings with our Head of School, the Head of the Junior or Senior School, as well as members of faculty or student body.
